About
I’m Anna and I'm a NZ Registered Psychologist and sex and relationship therapist based in Auckland, New Zealand. For fifteen years, I’ve worked with people through all kinds of life experiences - love and loss, change and uncertainty, and the moments of self-discovery and growth that can emerge along the way.
My clinical career began while I was still studying, working as a counsellor with children and teenagers. After completing my formal training in Auckland I joined a primary mental health service, where I spent five years in a large multidisciplinary team of psychologists, psychiatrists and social workers. Working alongside experienced colleagues across disciplines taught me a great deal about how people face change, and reinforced the idea that showing up and asking for help takes real courage.
Ten years ago, I moved my life and practice to Paris, curious to see where it might take me. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I spent the next decade working in private practice there, an experience that shaped me deeply, both as a clinician and as a person. Paris is a city of extraordinary cultural richness and diversity, and my practice reflected that. I worked with people from many different countries and backgrounds, including expats navigating the particular challenges of building a life far from home.
During the pandemic years, I pursued specialist training in clinical sexology and relationship therapy in the UK - an area I'd long felt drawn to, and one that has added real depth, nuance, and range to my work.
In early 2026, I decided to return to my roots in Auckland. After a decade in Paris, it felt good to come home and continue doing work that I’ve enjoyed for the past fifteen years. What I like most about therapy is the opportunity to slow things down, get curious about what’s really going on, and have conversations that can be difficult to have anywhere else. Whether you're coming alone or with a partner, I bring genuine interest and care to every session. If you're wondering whether we might be a good fit, I'd be happy to hear from you.
