About me

I am an English-speaking psychologist and sex and relationship therapist, based in Paris.

Originally from Aotearoa New Zealand, I have been working for more than ten years with individuals in both brief and longer-term therapy. While completing my studies I worked as a counsellor for children and teenagers, and following my formal clinical training in Auckland I began working at a primary mental health service. The five years I worked in the clinic were formative for me in that I was surrounded by a large multidisciplinary team of experienced psychologists, psychiatrists and social workers. This first chapter of my career helped shape my practice today and showed me the courage people possess when facing change, and the great privilege it is to sit with someone and hear their story.

Eight years ago I decided to follow my curiosity and move my life and work to France. Today I am lucky enough to continue my love of working with people, just in a different hemisphere. I enjoy having a second home that never stops providing me with expansive experiences, and it can also be challenging at times navigating a life in a country whose customs can be very different to what I am used to. Although everyone’s experiences are unique, I feel this makes me well-equipped to work with people who, whether by choice or necessity, find themselves living abroad.
